I’m a therapist, writer, walker of slow paths, and a lover of the tender-hearted.

I’m known to find life lessons in trees, rivers, mushrooms, and migrating birds. Fair warning.

For the past seventeen years, therapy has been the heart of my work. I have advanced training in trauma, ADHD, and couples therapy. But beneath all of those credentials is a much simpler practice: paying attention, walking this earth with curiosity, and remembering that we belong—to ourselves, to each other, and to this place.

Therapy is my profession. Community is my vocation. Both begin with the same belief: that we heal in relationship.

Looking back, I realize I’ve always been gathering people—around dinner tables, in running groups, in women’s circles, on retreats, beneath full moons, and anywhere strangers might become friends.

I’ve come to believe that healing doesn’t only happen in a therapist’s office. And definitely not only through talk therapy.

Healing happens when we gather. When we finally give our attention to what we’ve been quietly carrying. When someone witnesses our story and, for a moment, we don’t feel quite so alone. When we share a meal, laugh until we cry, wander through the trees, or remember that we belong to something larger than ourselves.

This year, while leading a retreat in Tulum, that familiar feeling returned. My shoulders dropped. My breathing slowed. I looked around and thought, I don’t want to have to keep coming back to Mexico, or Sedona, or make some great pilgrimage to find this feeling. I want access to it, wherever my feet are planted.

So I’m in a season of planting.

I’m cultivating community close to home, creating beautiful spaces where we can gather with intention, mark the changing seasons, tell the stories we’ve been carrying, and build the kinds of friendships where we feel each other’s hands at our back wherever we roam.

Like a grove of trees, I don’t believe any of us thrive in isolation. The health of the whole depends on the health of each tree, and each tree is strengthened by the forest around it.

This website is my little corner of that grove.

Whether you come here for therapy, a seasonal gathering, a community dinner, or simply because you have a longing for this kind of healing too… if it resonates, I’ll save you a seat.
